Jazz Record Collectors Bash Coming to NJ in June
Rare films will also be screened
The 38th annual Jazz Record Collectors Bash will take place June 29-30
At the Hilton Woodbridge in Iselin, N.J. Collectors can shop for 78s, LPs, CDs and memorabilia. Rare jazz films will also be shown.
On Friday the 29th, jazz collector and film historian David Weiner will present two hours of rare film and TV clips. On Saturday Ron Hutchinson, co-founder of the Vitaphone Project, will present two different largely previously unseen collections of early sound jazz and vaudeville short subjects.
General admission is $20.00 and covers the buyer’s admission for two days (Friday and Saturday). After 5:00 p.m. Friday (including Saturday) and all day Saturday admission is $10.00. Early buyers will be admitted Thursday evening after 7:30 p.m. for $40.00. Doors open 8:00 am on Friday and Saturday.
