Rudresh Mahanthappa to Perform New York Premiere of ‘Samdhi’ Suite

April 21 date takes place at Zankel Hall in NYC

Alto saxophonist Rudresh Mahanthappa will lead his quintet in its first performance at Carnegie Hall as they perform the New York premiere of the “Samdhi Suite" in its complete form, on April 21 at 10 p.m. in Zankel Hall. Mahanthappa will be joined by guitarist David Gilmore, bassist Rich Brown, drummer Gene Lake and percussionist Anand Ananthakrishnan.
