Lew Tabackin to Play One-Nighter with Canada’s Youth Big Band

Saxophonist and flutist coming to the Old Mill & Spa Feb. 27

Tenor saxophonist and flutist Lew Tabackin will perform with the JAZZ.FM91 Youth Big Band for a Sound of Jazz concert on Feb 27 at the Old Mill Inn & Spa near Toronto. Tabackin has played with Cab Calloway, Maynard Ferguson and has recorded numerous albums as a leader and with his wife, pianist Toshiko Akiyoshi. The Youth Big Band is a JAZZ.FM91 community outreach initiative comprising talented young Canadian jazz artists.
