Disappointing choice. A mediocre player who is very good at promoting himself rather improve on his trumpet playing. This is the chap who, while wet between his ears, criticised the great Miles Davis. His recordings are mediocre and the music often forgettable. He is nothing more than a poster boy for the white establishment that runs the music industry.

Have to disagree-Mr Marasalis, makes you want to learn. Regardless of what you think of his playing, he teaches and is a good spokesperson for jazz.

No one is perfect, not Mr. Marsalis or Mr Davis, how about we embrace how each bring instead of trying to just tear someone down. There is room for everyone.
