After Party for Von Freeman at NYC’s Iridium

Celebration of tenor saxist will take place night after his NEA Jazz Master induction

Southport Records will present “A Salute to 2012 NEA Jazz Master Von Freeman” at New York’s Iridium on Jan. 11 at 5:30 p.m. Freeman’s labelmates, singer-songwriter Joanie Pallatto and pianist-composer Bradley Parker-Sparrow, will also perform, presenting their original songs and improvisations. Tickets are $10.00.

This celebration of legendary tenor sax master Freeman, which takes place the night after his NEA induction, will also include special guests:
