NYC Winter Jazzfest Announces Updated Schedule

Miguel Zenón, Bill Laswell, Rudresh Mahanthappa among performers on Jan. 6-7

An updated lineup for the 2012 NYC Winter Jazzfest has been announced by Boom Collective and Search and Restore. The eighth annual festival will be held January 6-7 in New York City at five West Village venues: (le) Poisson Rouge, Sullivan Hall, Kenny’s Castaways, Zinc Bar and the Bitter End.

The festival will feature over 60 different jazz performers during the Arts Presenters (APAP) conference. Similar to past years the festival will provide an opportunity for artists to showcase in front of presenters, promoters, talent buyers, educators, musicians and fans. Over 5000 arts professionals will be in New York City for the annual Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP) conference from January 6-10.
