3 Cohens Celebrate the Release of 'Family'

Mini-tour begins with six nights at the Village Vanguard

The 3 Cohens—Avishai Cohen (trumpet), Anat Cohen (tenor saxophone and clarinet), Yuval Cohen (soprano saxophone)—with Aaron Goldberg (piano), Omer Avital (bass), and Jonathan Blake (drums), will celebrate the release of their new Anzic Records release Family with a series of performances at New York’s Village Vanguard. Following that, the three siblings and their band will head off to Boston, Rockport, Mass., and Toronto.

The full schedule is as follows:

Nov. 1-6: The Village Vanguard, NYC, Village Vanguard

Nov. 10: Scullers, Boston, MA, Scullers

November 11: Shalin Liu Performance Center, Rockport Music Hall, Rockport, MA, RCMF

Nov. 12: Koerner Hall, Toronto, RC Music (double bill w/The Jamey Haddad Arab Jazz Ensemble)
