San Diego’s Ocean Beach Festival Coming September 10

The 6th Annual Jazz 88 Ocean Beach Music & Art Festival will take place Saturday, September 10 in San Diego, Calif. The festival is presented by KSDS Jazz 88.3 FM, San
Diego’s original and only jazz radio station. The festival will feature three outdoor stages in addition to six stages inside neighboring club venues. The festival’s lineup consists of 23 bands from with the genres of straight-ahead jazz, Latin jazz, blues, funk, alternative rock and more.
Headlining the New Orleans influenced lineup is Dr. John and the Lower 911, recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Other noteworthy performers include B-3 organist Dr. Lonnie Smith, blues harmonica virtuoso Charlie Musselwhite, multi-

The Jazz 88 OB Music & Art Festival will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will conclude at sunset, around 7:00 p.m. Full festival access is priced at $30 for adults, with free admission for children under the age of 12 (note: some sites are 21 and over).
