Stanley Clarke Band: Live at Yoshi's

On the heels of winning the Grammy for Best Contemporary Jazz Album, bassist Stanley Clarke brought his band to Yoshi's in Oakland, CA for a sold out performance on April 1, 2011. An original member with keyboardist Chick Corea of the jazz fusion group Return to Forever, Clarke performed a stirring set switching back and forth between upright and electric bass.The band played many of the cuts from their Grammy-winning CD, plus a beautiful tribute to John Coltrane.
