Sirius XM Radio Launches Beyond Jazz Show on Real Jazz Channel

Sirius XM satellite radio has launched a new two-hour jazz specialty show hosted by Mark Ruffin called Beyond Jazz on the Real Jazz channel. Each week, Beyond Jazz will broadcast the roots of modern jazz music featuring the legendary musicians who 30 years ago were trying to change the very definition of the music’s form. Sirius XM listeners will hear music from Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, Chick Corea, Wayne Shorter and many others.

The Real Jazz channel is on Sirius at channel 72 and XM on channel 70, Sundays at 5 pm ET. The channel broadcasts jazz from the 1920s to today.
