Vocalist Ann Hampton Callaway Signs to Telarc

After releasing ten albums for labels including Shanachi, Capitol and DRG, vocalist Ann Hampton Callaway has signed to Telarc and will release her label debut, Blues in the Night, Aug. 22.

Callaway, who is the sister of Broadway performer Liz Callaway and the daughter of television journalist John Callaway and vocal coach Shirley Callaway, has had a career spanning almost fifteen years. She released her debut, self-titled album for DRG in 1992 and has since sung with orchestras including the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra and the Boston Pops and has performed at Carnegie Hall in tributes to Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee and Harold Arlen.
