At age 14, Grace Kelly is already a triple threat. She plays a mean alto sax, showing a remarkably steady and assured way with ballads in particular. Kelly also wrote five songs for this CD (her third), ranging from cutesy bop to stunningly mature coffeehouse pop. And as a vocalist, Kelly is fearless—crooning, scatting and even tackling Portuguese lyrics on one tune. All three aspects of Kelly’s career are works in progress, but it seems safe to say that we’ll be hearing much more from this prodigious talent in decades to come.
