National Jazz Museum of Harlem Benefit Concert Set for NYC on June 9

Dee Dee Bridgewater and Jon Batiste will perform

The National Jazz Museum in Harlem will present its 2014 Gala Benefit Concert and Awards Ceremony June 9 at the Kaye Playhouse at New York City’s Hunter College. The event features singer Dee Dee Bridgewater, plus performances by Jon Batiste (the Museum's Artistic Director at Large) and special surprise guests, in association with the Blue Note Jazz Festival.

The museum will also present its first Jazz and Community Leadership Award to Lisa Staiano-Coico, President of City College of New York, and its first Legends of Jazz Award to NEA Jazz Master McCoy Tyner. For reservations, call The National Jazz Museum in Harlem at 212-348-8300.
