New album will feature Pee Wee Ellis, Alec Dankworth and Abass Dodoo

Motéma Music has signed Ginger Baker, the British drummer best known for his work with guitarist Eric Clapton and bassist Jack Bruce in the '60s blues-rock band Cream. Baker, whose roots were in jazz and who has continued to play jazz after leaving Cream, will release a new album featuring saxophonist Pee Wee Ellis (who worked with James Brown), bassist Alec Dankworth and percussionist Abass Dodoo.
