Harlem Jazz Shrines Festival Set for May 4-10

Multi-venue event to feature variety of jazz performances

The Fourth Annual Harlem Jazz Shrines Festival will take place May 4-10 at Manhattan’s Apollo Theater and other Harlem venues. A weeklong, multi-venue partnership with the Apollo, Harlem Stage and Jazzmobile, in collaboration with Columbia University, the festival, according to a press release, “revives the spirits and sounds of Harlem’s historic jazz venues with swinging live performances, jam sessions, informative panel discussions, dance parties, films and more.”
