Russian Saxophonist Igor Butman to Tour U.S.

January tour will also feature Moscow State Jazz Orchestra and singer Fantine

Russian saxophonist Igor Butman and the Moscow Jazz Orchestra featuring vocalists Fantine and Allan Harris will tour the United States next month. The troupe will also play a single show in the Dominican Republic on Jan. 20.

Butman has released more than 10 albums both as a leader and co-leader, and has worked with with Chick Corea, Jack DeJohnette, John Patitucci, Stefon Harris and Randy Brecker, among others. Butman runs three festivals in Russia as well as two jazz clubs
