René Marie Releases 1st Eartha Kitt Tribute Album, “I Wanna Be Evil”

Singer will premiere show at NYC’s Jazz Standard next week; other tour dates follow

Singer, actress and writer René Marie will premiere the music from her new album, I Wanna Be Evil (With Love to Eartha Kitt)(Motéma Music), in the U.S. November 21-24 at New York City’s Jazz Standard. The album is the first tribute recording that honors the late vocalist and actress Kitt. Shows are at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m., and tickets are $25.
