Guess you just have to see the movie to figure this mess of a soundtrack out. With overdoses of avant-thrash collages and multiphonic saxophone splatterings of deconstructed cosmic slop, Heretic is at most mildly intriguing but fails to sustain any considerable interest. Maybe in the context of the film do these snippets of cinematic chaos make sense, but on their own they amount to nothing more than self-indulgent performance art.
